PTI's Lone Star Pipe Tracking System also tracks the movement of the pipe hauler/cargo barges' every move. A report is generated every shift detailing the pipe load, arrival, and departure of the pipe haulers. Communication is very critical for the onshore /offshore construction process. By utilizing the daily vessel status reports it allows everyone to be in the loop on where abouts of the vessel and the cargo pipe inventory loads at all times.
